A vintage, hand knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar area rug. This wool rug features a geometric center medallion with pendants and floral motifs in a palette of red, indigo, orange, navy, gold and white. The rectangular field is surrounded by a Melez inspired major border within geometric major borders, and the far ends have off-white fringe. The rug is tagged underneath.
