Vintage Medicine Apothecary Bottles and Pharmacists Compounding Supplies
Item Details
A collection of vintage medicine apothecary bottles and pharmacists compounding supplies. This collection includes clear and brown glass bottles of varying sizes. Paper labels on some of the bottles read ‘California Syrup of Figs and Elixir of Senna’ and ‘Euonymus Wahoo Fluid Extract N.F’. Some of the other bottles are embossed with the name of the pharmacist or contents. Equipment includes Kimax test tubes in a wooden rack, a wooden mortar and pestle, a large clear glass jug and bottles, and a small measuring glass. A small silver tone ‘Sen Sen’ brand tray completes this collection.
Condition
- paper labels are torn, faded. “Sen Sen” tin tray has rust spots. Most bottles missing caps and corks.
