Nobility Plate "Reverie" Silver-Plated Flatware Set

A silver-plated flatware set by Nobility Plate, a trademark of Empire Crafts Corp. This is in the Grosvenor N. Allen and Lloyd E. Ressegger designed Reverie pattern, first introduced in 1937, which features a flared handle with pointed tip and linear accents. The thirty-one piece set includes six salad forks, six teaspoons, six dinner forks, four tablespoons, a sugar spoon, a butter knife, a meat fork, and six dinner knives. Most are marked ‘Nobility Plate’ to the backs of the handles. The set is presented in a wooden flatware chest with felt-like interior lining.
Condition
- minor to mild surface wear including marks, scratches, and tarnishing; flatware chest is in fair condition, surface wear and scratches to the exterior and odor in the interior.
