An original signed limited edition lithograph by listed artist Richard Howard Hunt (American, 1935). The Abstract Modernist piece is composed of three architectural studies in vertical form, along with six small studies, to the right side of the composition. The studies appear to be sketches for sculptural works. The lithograph is pencil-signed to the lower right corner and numbered 45 out of an edition of 50. Richard Howard Hunt, born in Chicago, attended the Art Institute of Chicago, and is an abstract sculptor, working with stylized interpretations of both natural and human forms. He was exposed to the work of Julio Gonzales and David Smith, where he learned the direct-metal techniques of transforming steel and other metals. Richard Hunt’s work is widely exhibited and collected, included in museums throughout the United States.
