Antique 1911 Procter and Gamble White Naphtha Soap Box

An antique P&G White Naphtha wooden soap box from 1911. The front of the box features a Procter and Gamble pictorial logo in the shape of a wrapped bar of white naphtha soap with the words ‘P and G The White Naphtha Soap Procter & Gamble Cincinnati’. This is one of two products that ever used the logo ‘Procter and Gamble’ instead of the traditional ‘Procter & Gamble’ or ‘P&G’. The box has wood joined corners, cut out handles and a sliding lid.
