A hand colored etching on paper titled Ruddy Duck after well-listed English painter John Prideaux Selby (1788 – 1867). This ornithological study features a duck standing on a small island in a body of water, rendered in detailed linework. The title is printed in plate toward the lower edge of the image. It is presented under layered mats and glass in a wood frame, wired to hang.
