Item Details
An original miniature oil painting on a wood panel by an unknown artist. The painting, rendered in an Impressionistic style, depicts well-dressed ladies gathered at the seashore. Two are seated in chairs, one shading herself with a parasol and reading a book. Others are standing and socializing, and two are sitting in the sand gazing at the water. The work is unsigned, and is presented in a gold tone wood frame with cast surface embellishments, a beige linen liner and a gold tone fillet. It is ready to hang with a sawtooth bracket.
Condition
- light accretion to surface of painting. Stains to linen liner and minor wear to frame.
