Chinese Porcelain Tableware
Item Details
A collection of antique and vintage Chinese porcelain. This group includes five small plates with raised rims that are hand decorated with a pink and green floral motif. These items are marked to the underside with indiscernible marks and date to the first half of the twentieth century. Accompanying these items is an assembled pair including a tea bowl and a saucer, which display delicate floral motifs and a pink and red meander border to the bowl. The plate is adorned with a cluster of flowers to the well with a wavy dotted line border and hand painted insects to the rim. Also included are two teacups with dragon designs and a cream soup bowl in the cabbage pattern.
Condition
- hairline cracks in two cups; chip to rim and sticker affixed to tea bowl; faint surface marks from prior use; would benefit from light cleaning.
