A lithograph on paper after a drawing of a figure study. This print, which appears to be after a conte crayon drawing, depicts a semi-nude figure posed seated on the floor, pulling their bent legs back while staring onward solemnly. The composition is composed of smeared and gestural marks in a palette of ochre and black. To the lower right corner of the composition is a graphite signature appearing to read ‘P. Butcher’. The drawing is presented under glass beneath matting in a deep red wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.

- glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; worn frame finish; minor foxing.
