Item Details
A watercolor and gouache painting on paper by artist E.D. Staggs. The piece depicts a farm landscape scene lightly dusted with winter snow. To the center is a brown barn set among bare trees, against a backdrop of distant purple mountains. The work is signed in red ink to the lower right. It is matted in brown and off-white and presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- toning to paper and matting; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly; edge wear and nicks to frame finish; lightly torn paper backing, with staining to outer edges.
