A late 20th-century oil painting on canvas board by artist E. Foster. The piece depicts an Impressionist-inspired rendering of a country lane surrounded by trees filled with vibrant red, orange and yellow autumn leaves, accented with areas of light textured impasto throughout. The work is signed in white paint to the lower right. It is presented without glass in a rustic wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
