A watercolor and gouache painting on panel of a clown by artist John R. Good. This painting depicts a clown with full face makeup, bowler’s hat and red nose angrily staring towards the viewer while clutching at an opened newspaper against a crimson red background. To the lower left corner of the composition is a painted artist signature. The painting is presented in a dark wooden frame featuring a linen liner and gold tone fillet with hanging wire to the verso.
