Porcelain Biscuit Jar with Silver Plate Lid and Tirschenreuth Porcelain Dish
Item Details
A porcelain biscuit jar. This jar features a light orange and yellow background with a pink rose and green leaf design. It has a silver plate rim and bail handle, and is topped with a silver plate lid marked, ‘EPNS’ on the top. The jar comes with a Tirschenreuth Bavarian porcelain dish featuring a cherry design to the center, as well as a gilt rim accented with black scrolls. The center is signed by the artist and the underside is stamped, ‘Bavarian China, Handpainted’ with a green wreath and shield for Tirschenreuth.
Condition
- light discoloration; some tarnish to lid.
