J. A. Burns Oil Painting on Panel of Seaside Landscape
Item Details
A mid to late 20th-century oil painting on panel by J.A. Burns. The piece depicts an Impressionist-inspired landscape scene, with green vegetation and gentle ocean waves set against a backdrop of bright blue skies with soft white clouds. The work is signed in black paint to the lower right, appearing to read ‘J.A. Burns’. It is matted in off-white and presented under glass in a wooden frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- slight toning to image; discoloration and marks to mat; edge wear, abrasions, nicks and scuffing throughout frame; tears to frame’s backing paper.
