A signed glass perfume bottle by Murano artist Franco Moretti (1947-). This piece is composed with a red stopper, rolled emerald lip, and onion shaped body rendered in magenta with a scavo finish. The piece bears a ground pontil mark and acid etched signature to the base. Scavo, meaning unearthed, denotes a chemical process that creates a weathered surface, reminiscent of archaic glass.
