Vintage Price & Kensington "Ye Olde Cottage" Teapots
Item Details
A pairing of vintage earthenware teapots by Price & Kensington in the Ye Olde Cottage pattern. Each is molded in the likeness of a quaint home with a thatch lid, chimney finial, and angular handle. They are hand painted in shades of sepia, copper, yellow, and green. Marks to the base indicate production in the early 1960s. The larger bears a black Price Bros. stamp dated 1962-3; the smaller bears a green stamp dated after 1963.
Condition
- minor marks and faint scratches throughout consistent with gentle use.
