A pairing of Royal Doulton character jugs. Featured is a Royal Doulton Pied Piper small character jug. The jug features a bust of the pied piper. The figure wears a hat, and the handle is formed by a staff. It has a mark “Royal Doulton, Pied Piper, D6403, COPR 1953”. Also included is an_Old Charley_ character jug, dating to the early 20th century. The character piece depicts a winking man wearing a brown hat and dotted bow tie to his green shirt, with brown handle. This mug is marked to the underside ‘Made in England/Royal Doulton/England/Old Charley/D 54.20.’
