An Erté ‘Carnations’ German china plate by Sevenarts. The plate is formed of white china by Sevenarts by Mikasa. The plate features a central portrait of an woman with carnations dangling from her gold necklace and pinned in her hair after an Erté painting, plate is rimmed in a gold Art Deco design. Erté (French-Russian, 1892-1990) was known for his Art Deco paintings of women, the plate is signed to the right and marked to the verso ‘UH204 Carnations Fine China West Germany 1990 by Sevenarts Limited’.
