A hand-knotted Nepalese Pictorial carved wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, ivory, avocado, azure, crimson, gold, and ochre. The cranberry colored field features a bold central image of a bird perched atop a flowering branch with sculpted details. Framing the field are solid bands of colors, and finished with overcast selvedges and a skirted ivory cotton warp with a twisted fringe to the ends.
