A handwoven Turkish kilim long rug. Rendered in a palette of ivory, midnight blue, cherry, tangerine, teal, burnt orange and burgundy, this wool rug begins with a vertical row of three diamonds grounded in cream and filled with small tree-like motifs, elements that continue in a highly contrasting midnight blue field. Framing the field are three borders, including a main border grounded in tangerine, featuring a geometric meander pattern. The rug finishes with double-overcast selvedges and long knotted cotton warp fringe at each end. It is unlabeled.
