An offset lithograph print on paper titled Moghul Elephant after a painted silk thangka textile from Rajasthan, India. The piece depicts an Indian elephant in ceremonial attire, shown walking in side profile, and rendered in a palette of yellow, teal, red, grey and orange hues. The unsigned print is matted in red and presented under glass in a gold tone wooden frame with moulded foliate and beaded embellishments, fitted with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes labels with further details about the print, as well as information about thangka paintings of Nepal and India.
