An oil painting on canvas board signed ‘N. Mene’. This piece depicts a rainy, early 20th century street scene. It is dusk, and the lights in the shops illuminate the passers-by in a rich orange glow. The piece is signed to the lower right and presented in a gold tone frame with molded corner ornamentation and string to the verso for hanging.
