Copper Coal Scuttle with Delft Porcelain Style Handles

Item Details

A vintage copper and brass coal scuttle with Delft porcelain style handles. The rounded bottom copper coal pail features a wide slanting lip and a brass hoop handle. There are cast modeled human faces at the ends of the handle where it is attached to the body. The handle features a blue and white ceramic holder and a similar handle is also found on the fixed grip on the rear of the bucket. The scuttle sits on a round beveled base. It does not appear to bear maker’s marks.
