A vintage Renaissance style armchair. This chair features a straight crest rail and high, upholstered back joining curved wooden armrests with acanthus leaf carved scroll hand holds. The upholstered cushion seat rises on curved legs with acanthus leaf embellishments joined by an H-stretcher and terminating on scroll feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
