Hummel "Brother & Sisters" Collectors Plate and Ornaments

A Hummel ‘Brother & Sisters’ collectors plate from the Danbury Mint and ornaments. The plate features a photographic image of a figurine depicting a brother and sister under an umbrella and gilt lettering on a dark cream border which reads ‘Brothers & Sisters never outgrow their need for each other’. Danbury Mint, Hummel copyright, and handwritten Serial No. A2640 marks to the backside. Also included are three Christmas ornaments: one depicting a brother and sister looking at a Christmas tree, one depicting a Hummel boy making a snowman, and one depicting a Hummel boy on a sled with a Christmas tree inside a basket strapped over his shoulders. The back of each ornament is decorated with a relief painted holly-garland design and a printed ‘M.J. Hummel’ signature mark.
