"Barnyard King" Transferware Ironstone Cups
Item Details
A set of six vintage English transferware ironstone cups in the Barnyard King pattern. Each piece has a cream body with a pressed, swirled rim and an applied handle. The exterior is adorned with a brown transferware design of a central panel of a squirrel resting on tree branches while consuming a nut. The design is flanked by a band of birds. The interior features a colorful transferware design of a turkey in a village setting consisting of a house with a barn. Each piece has an impressed mark to the underside ‘Made in England’.
