H. Amundsen Oil painting of a Harbor Scene
Item Details
An original oil painting on canvas by well listed American artist C. Hjalmar ‘Cappy’ Amundsen (1911-2001). This painting depicts a classic New England harbor scene with fishing boats tied up along a pier lined with colonial style structures. Seagulls and a turbulent sky are visible overhead. The artist has used subdued color choices to depict this marine scene and has retained visible brushstrokes in both the sky and water. This piece is signed in black to the lower left. This painting is presented in a frame constructed of wood with a weathered finish and a white liner. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.
