Antique St. Paul Transferware Pitcher

Item Details

An antique ironstone pitcher. This footed pitcher features a bulbous form with a scalloped lip and spout and an angular handle. It is decorated with transfer-ptinted floral and foliate design accented by gold trim and and embossed leaf motif around the upper border. The underside is stamped in brown ‘St. Paul’.

- wear to gilded pattern on rim and handle; wear to transfer imagery; previously repaired crack to lip
