Portuguese Hand-Painted Pierced Faïence Porcelain Vessels
Item Details
A pairing of Portuguese hand-painted faïence porcelain vessels. Included is a tripod footed basket whose pierced wall is brushed with green to the edge. A floral motif accents the well, finished with pink, blue, and yellow feathered swirls and geometric trim to the inner and outer body. Also included is a basket with a twisted top handle and pierced body accented with criss-crossed pink lines. The handle and well are decorated with a floral motif. Each piece is marked to the base indicating production in Portugal.

- some residue to interior of basket; minor marks and faint scratches throughout consistent with gentle use.
