Item Details

A Japanese Imari porcelain bowl with a peacock motif. The piece features an interior design with a pair of peacocks in a garden with floral borders to the inside and outside. Unmarked to the underside with a pair of rims to the underside.

Condition

- some slight discoloration along the rim, evidence that there was once gold-tone paint that has since rubbed off; rubbing to gold-tone pigment between the peacocks inside the bowl decoration.
