Japanese Lacquered Wood Scroll Box with Floral Motif
Item Details
A Japanese lacquered wood scroll box with a floral motif. The two-piece box features a hand-painted gold-tone floral design. Along the sides are two pieces of brass-tone hardware with attached cords that close the box. Unmarked.
Condition
- chipping to the lid corner of the box; damage along the body of the box near the base; small scuffs and chips to the lacquer on the body of the box.
