Item Details
An original oil painting on canvas by listed Belgian painter Danny Lammers (born 1949). This expressively rendered urban painting depicts a crowd of villagers gathered around several temporary structures in front of a Gothic church. The work is signed in the lower right and dated 1974. A brass plaque on the lower bar of the frame reads ‘Danny Lammers, Flemish School’. It is presented in a gold tone wood and gesso frame with a hanging wire mounted to the verso.

- craquelure; toning; minor nicks at bottom right of frame.
