A lithograph of Paris after Charles Cobelle. This lithographic print is after the 19th century French artist and printmaker. It depicts a Parisian cityscape scene with a bustling street full off pedestrians and horse drawn carriages in the foreground, some notable structures such as the Eiffel Tower in the mid-ground, and gestural foliage and sky in the background. This print is signed ‘Cobelle’ in the lower right corner as well as the edition number of ‘204/350’. This piece is presented under glass in a red tone metal frame. It is hung to the verso with a wire hanger.
Condition
- some light scratching to the frame; print appears to be slightly faded from light exposure.
