Antique Haviland & Co. Limoges "The Taranto" Teacups with Other Tableware
Item Details
A porcelain tea service with assorted tableware. Featured are four teacups and two saucers in The Taranto pattern by Haviland & Co. of Limoges, France. The items feature delicate teal and green floral designs with gold accents against a white field. They are marked in red ‘The Taranto, Haviland & Co. J. Mc. D&S. Co’ with an ‘H& Co. L France’ green underglaze mark H (1888-1896). Also included is an unmarked dome butter dish with gold trim and a small covered tureen with under plate decorated with green ivy and gold trim by Royal Crown. It bears a hallmark to the underside.
