Pair of German 800 Silver Sabbath Candlesticks

A pair of German 800 silver Sabbath candlesticks. These pieces feature Baroque styles with a fluted capital accented with floral trim around the lip and foliate swags. The capitals are raised on knopped stems featuring foliate and swag details, as well as gadroon bands on a four-footed base with shell and scrolled foliate feet. The base is stamped with an unidentified maker’s mark and the letter ‘M’ and the undersides are lined with burgundy felt.
