A Japanese Kutani ware porcelain decorative dish. This piece features a scalloped porcelain body embellished with a delicate vermilion and gold-tone depiction of songbirds perched among peonies and blossoming tree branches. A decorative running floral design is hand-painted along the scalloped rim. Marked ‘Made by Kutani’ (九谷造) alongside an unidentified artist signature.
