1954 Vernon Downs Sterling Silver Footed Trophy Bowl

A 1954 sterling silver footed trophy bowl from the Vernon Downs horse racing track in central New York. This equestrian trophy is comprised of a turned wood bowl supported on a round sterling base with engraved inscription reading, ’ Vernon Downs – 1954’ and ‘2 Year Old Pace’, as well as a personalized engraving for ‘Ralph Allinger’. The trophy comes with a sterling handled serving fork and spoon set with wooden tops. The base of the trophy is marked, ‘Sterling 611’ and the implements are marked ‘Sterling Handle’.
