Vintage Trutone Record Player

A Trutone record player is presented here. Often nicknamed, ‘The Trapezoid,’ this personal record player from Trutone features a truncated pyramid shape with the lid closed. The record player boasts wood construction and is covered in maroon paper to the rear and black paper with small white polka dots to the face. The player plays 45RPM records and has Bakelite handle and knobs on the front for tone and volume. The speaker sites behind a chrome finish metal mesh screen and the cord tucks into the player through the back of the lid.

Condition

- fading to the paper finish, tears in the finish, player was powered on and turntable rotates and arm moves to play record, not tested further.
