Early 20th Schofield Company Three-Piece Sterling Silver Coffee Set

An early 20th century sterling silver coffee set from The Schofield Co. The set includes a tall coffee pot with hinged lid topped with a grape cluster finial, a handled sugar bowl with removable lid and cluster finial, and a cream pitcher. All three pieces are heavily chased with a grape vine motif and are monogramed with a scripted ‘O’. Each is hallmarked to the underside with the initial ‘B’ within a diamond, a lion, an ‘S’ within a diamond, ‘Sterling 925/1000 Fine’. The total approximate weight is 36.725 ozt.
Condition
- minor markings throughout; ivory insulators have been replaced with ebonized wood; small dent in the body of the coffee pot.
