An antique Victorian sewing bird pin cushion clamp. The device features foliate detailing to the clamp and is adorned with a songbird clip. The mouth of the bird opens to hold needlework when the tail feathers are pressed together. A pin cushion would have rested on the bird as well on the angle of the clamp. The key form vice clamps to any table for portability.
