Item Details
A Japanese wheel-thrown ceramic mortar. The glazed piece features a oxidized blue coloring with a scored interior and lip for pouring. Incised ‘出’ by the artist to the underside. Not accompanied by a pestle.

- minor areas of pitting to the exterior of the mortar.
