German 800 Silver Tongs and Other 800 Silver Utensils
Item Details
A three-piece collection of 800 silver utensils. This includes a pair of tongs, which features scrolled and openwork design on the grips of a woman in a dress carrying a basket of fish. They are marked to one side with the post-1886 German reichsmark of a crescent moon and a crown next to ‘800’. Also presented is a tea strainer with embossed and engraved accents and a small spatula with pierced and scrolled handle, both marked ‘800’. The total approximate weight is 3.760 ozt.

- minor to mild surface wear including marks, scratches, and tarnishing; slight bend in tea strainer’s handle.
