A Trend by Sligh mantle clock. This maple cased clock features a carved arch with tulip above a glass fronted case. An elaborate arabesque filled face features a gold band with black Roman numerals, minutes and black metal hands. ‘Tempus Fugile’ is written in script above the face. Turned columns flank the clock, finishing on a carved rectangular base with turned bun feet. The sides of the clock are clear glass, providing views of the clock mechanism. A back panel provides access to clock works with maker’s sticker present to verso.
