Vintage Ceramic Planters including Onondaga Pottery

A pair of decorative, vintage ceramic planters. These planters have elongated rectangular forms with cream glazes to the ceramic surfaces. One planter has curved edges with knob feet. It is marked on the underside of the base with ‘OP-558 USA’ for Onondaga Pottery, founded in 1871 in Geddes, New York, known for their restaurant ware prior to becoming Syracuse China. The second planter has orange accenting and an elephant head in relief on the surface. This piece appears to be unmarked.

Condition

- the white footed planter has slight amount of discoloration to inside, made in USA; smaller yellow and white planter also has a little discoloration to inside rim.
