A pair of oil paintings on canvas of a flower field by listed artist Karin Schaefers. These two paintings, which seemingly merge together in a continuous composition similar to a diptych, depict a field of purple and pastel toned flowers similar to irises. They sway in unison, emerging from tall grass, as they obscure into overexposed lighting in the distance. To the lower right corner of each composition is a painted signature. The paintings are wrapped over wooden stretchers with hanging wire to the verso.
