A woodblock print on paper titled Plum Viewing in the Second Month from Twelve Months of Beauties in the Floating World by listed Japanese artist Keisai Eisen (渓斎 英泉, 1790-1848), created in 1829. This print features a man witnessing the plum blossom of the second lunar month rendered with primary hues. The print title is printed within the pictorial inset and the series title in a cartouche along the right edge. The artist’s signature is printed in the lower left corner alongside other seals and poems. This print is presented matted and housed in a wooden frame under glass.
