A Japanese watercolor painting on silk of a bird and flower motif. The work depicts a pair of passerines among blooming lotus flowers and irises. Signed ‘春水女更’ to the lower left alongside a faded red seal. Housed in a gilt wood frame with a bamboo motif and glass.

- minor wear to the finish on the frame; tears to the paper backing.
