Pair of Chinese Ceramic Moon Flask Vases
Item Details
A pair of Chinese ceramic moon flask vases. The vases feature a cylindrical neck with serpentine handles to each side mounted on octagonal flask shaped bodies on square pedestal bases. Images of horse dragons with hoofed feet and manes are featured on both sides of the cobalt blue and white vases. The undersides bear apocryphal Qianlong reign marks, however, they were produced during the Republic period (1912-1949) or later in the 20th century.
Condition
- some discoloration and crazing; residue to surfaces of vases.
