Long-Stitch Needlepoint Embroidery of a Still Life
Item Details
A long-stitch needlepoint embroidery on an open-weave canvas. This hand-stitched work depicts a still life with an overflowing mason jar full of white daisies and a copper pitcher and serving plate, all in front of a yellow wall. It is signed and dated ‘Alber Aug. ’82’ to the verso and presented in a wood frame with a saw-tooth bracket to the verso for hanging.

- piece has shifted, revealing unstitched canvas along top edge; moderate wear to corners of frame.
