Chinese Famille Verte Style Urn
Item Details
A Chinese Famille Verte style urn. The urn features a rectangular tapered body with angled foot, having a squared off neck and domed lid with a guardian lion finial. There are paneled scenes on each side of painted figural and floral themes, including a figure chasing a butterfly with a net. The urn bears an apocryphal Qianlong reign mark, however, it was produced during the Republic period (1912-1949) or later in the 20th century.
